The Biggest short Adventure of your life.

Crooked Mick of the Speewah was a student film completed in 2005 at the Australian Film Television & Radio School (AFTRS), Australia’s National Film School.

Crooked Mick is based on a short children’s picturebook, which was based on a legend about a mythical place called the Speewah. Everything is larger than life at the Speewah, including resident giant Crooked Mick.

Crooked Mick was shot on a bluescreen, before a lengthy post production process.

Crooked Mick screened at over 70 international film festivals, won numerous awards and was screened multiple times on national television.
