When you purchase a puppet from ElectroPuppet, you will also receive a .PDF license explaining what you can and can’t do. It’s pretty basic (and attached below).
When you purchase a puppet, you are granted non-exclusive non-transferable and non-sub-licensable rights to use the downloaded items. That means you don’t own the puppet. You own a license to use the puppet. Any content you make is yours to do with as you please. You can monetise it or put in on YouTube.
You can make any content you like, personal and commercial for yourself or a company you work for. You can modify the puppet using an image editor (Photoshop or Illustrator).
We appreciate being credited in your work – but it is not a requirement.
You can’t upload/list/share or sell our puppet or asset file(s). That means no sending the puppets to others or putting them (or parts of them) online.
You can’t offer the puppets as a paid service to clients. If you want to use a puppet for client work, we ask that you purchase the puppet on behalf of that client. If you want to use the same puppet for an additional client, just repurchase that puppet on behalf of that client. Pretty straightforward.
If you want to do something outside the terms of the REGULAR LICENSE, we would have to create a COMMERCIAL LICENSE, which we would tailor to your requirements.
If you have any questions, please reach out via the contact page.
ElectroPuppet acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, the Gumbaynggirr people.
We pay our respects to their elders, past, present and emerging.
