If you are just starting out and want to experiment with Adobe Character Animator, there are a TON of FREE puppets and resources to help you learn and master this exciting new software!
Free Dudley is our own famous freebie here at ElectroPuppet. You may have seen him on the Adobe Character Animator ‘More Puppets’ page. Free Dudley will synch to your voice (live or prerecorded) as well as mirror your smile, surprised look and head position.
And that’s not all. Free Dudley comes with a number of trigger keys. Hit the ‘Q’ key and he’ll look quizzical. Hit ‘W’ and he’ll look worried. ‘A’ makes him angry, ‘S’ surprised. ‘B’ will make him blink, or hit ‘N’ to make him wink.
Dudley also comes with a whole set of actions. Press a number and he can shrug, point, gesture or have an idea. If you press the left or right arrow keys, Free Dudley will take a walk!
And don’t worry about remembering all the trigger keys, we’ve included a trigger sheet for quick reference.
To get Free Dudley, all you have to do is subscribe to our newsletter ‘ElectroBuzz’ and we’ll email you a link straight away! So what are you waiting for!?!
If you are interested in taking one of the ‘TOON LOONS’ for a spin, we have released a free puppet in that family – YOYO THE CLOWN. Yoyo will face left or right, has head turner as well as the walk behaviour. Be sure to take a look at the Trigger sheet that comes with Yoyo – because there is a limited deal to pickup Yoyo’s buddy ZIPPY at an additional discount!
You can find Yoyo in the TOON LOONS ADULTS – take a look at all the puppets available and then grab your FREE Yoyo the clown puppet on the last page (they are alphabetically listed).
