Jeff Gillilan has created the Louietoon channel. An EPIC animated show that follows Nora, Charlie, Quinn and Christian on fantastical adventures – much like the Scooby gang. The characters are actually Jeff’s grandchildren and are voiced by them. Each episode features a large scale song and dance number too!!
Leading up to Halloween, Jeff released trailers building anticipation for his upcoming episodes. Each episode went for around 14 minutes. An amazing achievement for a one-person studio!
Jeff had Digital Puppets custom build the four teens and used many assets from ElectroPuppet including characters, environments and vehicles.
Jeff has just released a trailer for his upcoming Christmas episode, which is slated for release in 2026. We’re looking forward to another epic production from Jeff and the family!

ProfJRock aka Associate Professor Jason Roche, from Detroit Mercy Communication Studies Department has featured on the ElectroPuppet blog several times. Jason teaches a University course using ElectroPuppet characters and has put on a film festival showcasing his students work.
Each year Jason creates an amazing animated Christmas video and this year he has created something that is absolutely hysterical – and also very poignant. This year Jason explores AI and how it is impacting the education sector with hilarious results. You’ll be entertained by Jason’s 9 minute short. His subtle animation really breathes life into the characters and the script is very clever with how it handles the AI issue.

Blazer TV is a news station run from The Brookfield Primary School. Students create video content to share with the school community. We were excited to have them reach out and share one of their videos that used some of our puppets. Fantastic work by all the students and teachers involved!

Dawn Harriott is building a community addressing social change through animated series ‘A New Dawn’. Dawn has taken a number of characters from the ElectroPuppet store and made modifications and changes to make them unique to her production. Dawn has also added a cool, halftone effect to give the production a grounded, textural street-press quality reflecting it’s social message.
The series follows Kingston, a Jamaican Rasta navigating the emotional and cultural shock of his first winter alone in Toronto. Through poetic visuals, humour, and rhythm-driven storytelling, the show explores themes of displacement, strength, identity, and community.
Through humor, heart, and hard truths, Kingston’s journey invites you to see the world through fresh eyes—touching on migration, belonging, culture shock, and strength. Each episode is rooted in lived experience, blending narrative, visuals, and lessons that invite reflection and conversation.

Finally, this last production is a little closer to home. This is a game created by ElectroPuppet using Unreal Engine for TAFE NSW.
LUNACY is a proof of concept game. It uses a mix of 2D and 3D animation. Playing as ACE – a little yellow alien, the player learns the planet is about to get obliterated by an asteroid storm. MIRA pops up on screen to guide Ace to collect parts to assemble an escape pod and get off the planet before the storm hits.
The game had a tight turnaround, and Adobe Character Animator allowed the many animation sequences to get created in the short time available.
